Try starting it from scratch, so make sure it's not paired by Bluetooth, on the mib2 that smartlink is configured as MirrorLink (in the smartlink menu), on the iPhone go to settings and general, CarPlay, select usb only, and also click the ! I found that if you reset the infotainment screen by holding down the on/off control for 10 seconds the system would restart and the Bluetooth would be on, not ideal but it gets you access to your phone while in the car. This would sometimes last a couple of days, other times just one short journey.
Not sure what use that would be. It appears to be a bluetooth unit for streaming music somehow, but how effective it would be I don't know. Dan. Posted 30 November, 2010. Not built in by default - you should be able to get an external bluetooth module from Skoda although they are expensive. The phone button would just link to the bluetooth, I believe, and allow you to control (dial, answer, etc) via the BT module. Posted 30 November, 2010.
